How it works

A funnel that behaves like a law firm.

Five phases, in a fixed order, with an attorney gate the software cannot bypass. Here's the whole journey.

  1. Discover

Everything starts with plain-language content: what each program is, who it tends to fit, and what the honest trade-offs are. No countdown timers, no urgency theater. The federal programs are free to apply for yourself, and we say so on every page.

  2. Qualify

The eligibility check is a deterministic rules engine, not a lead-scoring black box. Counsel-reviewed routing rows weigh every program at once; multi-eligible borrowers see every path, ranked, with discharge programs always outranking paid services.

  3. Engage

If a paid legal service fits, you review a plain-language engagement letter and sign electronically. Fees are classified first: unearned amounts go to a client trust account, and for debt-relief services no fee is collected before the attorney-certified milestone. Settlement engagements include mandatory disclosures and a 72-hour cooling-off period.

  4. Intake

You upload documents once. Extraction reads them and pre-fills your file; a trained human verifies every extracted field before it's used. Your portal checklist always shows exactly what's outstanding, in English or Spanish.

  5. File

Your claim packet is assembled from verified data and mapped onto the official government forms. An attorney reviews and signs at the supervision gate, and then it's filed. You track status in the portal the whole way.
